02/07/08Armadillos and The Musical JohnHey all, I wish I could say that it's great to be back, but when I see the forecast in Alpine Texas and it's sunny and 70 for the next ten days, I'm not sure what I'm doing here. I've decided to give this music thing a couple more years and if it starts to feel old, I'm buying a small camper van and I'm outta here. I'm going to spend my winters in the sun. In the meantime it's show time again. This notice is coming a bit late, but I'm not quite up to speed yet. I'm still recovering from the shock of being buried in snow and ice here in Chicago. We will be doing our thing tomorrow night at Tiger O' Stylies in Berwyn and the details are below. I have ten live Armadillos that I brought back from Texas and I'll have them at the show tomorrow night. I will be giving them away to the first ten people who buy a CD. Also, while I was gone, Brian the genius bass player was busy working on the musical John and he will have one on display tomorrow night for demonstration.
