The Rats Ass & the Scum Bucket

Hey everybody, hope you’re all doing great and getting geared up for holiday madness.

It’s show time again for me and the Invisible Dogs and we’ve got two for you this month. One is at the Rats Ass in Gary, Indiana and the other one is at the Scum Bucket in Wilmington, Illinois. Both of these places have big stages, lights, and plenty of parking. There are a couple of small inconveniences that you should be aware of. In an effort to help save trees, there’s no place to sit because they have no tables or chairs. Also, as a part of a water conservation project they have no bathrooms. They do however have large crater size ditches out in the back where they provide shovels and plenty of toilet paper. I know it seems kind of barbaric and primitive, but hey, it’s for a good cause and these places rock!!!

Ok, now that I’ve got that out of my system. The real shows this month are looking good.

Though we hope to see some of you at both, the one at Rascals’ on Friday November 30th is the big one for us. We have a great line up, it’s a great venue with great food, and we’re going to be recording and video taping it. It was a great show last time and we hope to make this one a repeat.

I’ll probably send out another reminder about Rascal’s but until then, have a happy fun Thanksgiving and enjoy the good eating. My family has always been kind of sick, but this year they’ve gone too far. My mom is serving cat. As the majority of you know, I’m a vegan so of course I’ll be abstaining from the cat. I think they’re doing this just to irritate me. Next year it will probably be squirrel.
